Jeopardy (100 BMC Aurora)

The purpose for today's class was to assess student's retention level of subject matter presented during the 1st semester. The activity incorporated principles of the game show Jeopardy.

The mentees were divided into three (3) teams. A game board was set up with six (6) subject categories. Category questions covered Credit Education, Business/Dining Etiquette, Time Management, Setting Goals based on the SMART model, College Scholarship Fair and the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE). Question values ranged from $100 to $800 during the first half of the game. Unselected 1st half questions were carried over into the 2nd half and doubled in value. Teams earned points on correct answers, and lost points with incorrect responses. Teams with a positive cash value at game's end were eligible to participate in Final Jeopardy. Members of the winning team earned $5 gift cards to McDonald's.
