Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn this vision of the future into reality. So,today the Southside mentees began work on putting together their Strategic Life Plan. The objective is to map out where you envision your self 1 year, 3 years and 5 years, from today, by establishing SMART Goals. In addition mentees will also be doing a SWOT Analysis for for each of their SMART Goals and submitting to a 360 Analysis of themselves by their peers. Eventually mentees will put together an action plan for achieving their SMART Goals.
Later in the afternoon a few of the mentees assisted the 100 Black Men of Chicago with the handing out of toys at Clara's House located in Englewood, Chicago.
