The 100 Black Men of Chicago received a donation of over 1,000 books this Spring. We reached out to multiple community groups and the Chicago Public Library (CPL) about receiving the books. The response was overwhelming with the Delta sorority collecting books for daycare centers at: Kennedy King college, Malcolm X college, and Chicago State university. Books also went to: University of Chicago Charter school, Empowerment through Education & Exposure (EEE), Chicago Youth Centers, and the CPL received books for over eight branches across the city, and will use them for prizes in their summer reading program. Some of the libraries included: Austin, Chicago Bee, Thurgood Marshall, Woodson, Sulzer, Rogers Park, Whitney Young, and Uptown
