On Saturday the mentees from Chicago and Aurora came together to celebrate their many accomplishments at the 100 Black Men of Chicago's 12th Annual Benefits Awards Ceremony. It's a tradition to start out the day by going to the movies, this years's selection was Terminator Salvation. Two Thumbs Up. Afterwards the mentees headed back to the Hyatt for a pre-gala pizz party.
At 6:00pm the mentees were ready to go, making their first appearence at the cocktail reception and silent auction where they mixed and mingled with our corporate sponsors. Everyone looked really dapper in their tuxedos and evening gowns. At 7:00pm the guests began to arrive and our mentees were introduced and recognized for their many accomplishments over the past year.
The 100 BMC would like to thank our corporate sponsors, mentees and supporters for making the night a memorable one.
