Today the mentees learned about wealth. We started the session by showing a movie which chronicled how early African-American slaves, once freed, built wealth by accumulating property and later businesses. After the movie we discussed stocks as another means for accumulating wealth and began our stock trading game on Investorpedia. There are weekly prizes for mentees who see their portfolios grow the most.
