Today the 100 BMC mentees and mentors particippated in The 27th Annual Walk-Fun Run-Bike-Skate-a-thon at 31st Street and Lakeshore Drive. The mentees volunteered their time with the UNCF by working at the Real Men Cook Tent serving food and drinks to the paprticipants. The mentee's parents also contributed their time by working at the 100 BMC tent handing out literature for the College Scholarship Fair, ACT Test Prep and our Westside and Southside mentoring programs. Next year we plan to support the day with a bigger 100 BMC presence and fundraising effort.
